The Brentwood Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z) advises the Board of Aldermen on how best to preserve and protect Brentwood's existing residential and business community and provide for, plan, guide and direct the development, redevelopment and growth of the City. The Planning & Zoning Commission is authorized by state statute under RSMo Chapter 89.
Planning & Zoning Commission members are appointed to three-year terms by the Mayor with approval by the Board of Aldermen. The Planning & Zoning Commission meets at 6 pm on the second Wednesday of the month. A subcommittee meeting is held on an as-needed basis on the last Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. All meetings take place at City Hall unless otherwise announced.
Brentwood residents interested in serving on the Commission are encouraged to complete and submit the Volunteer Interest Form.
