Brentwood Public Works crews will pick up residents’ once-live Christmas trees for disposal on Wednesdays in January. This is the same day as yard waste pickup. Please remove all lights and ornaments before placing the tree at the curb.
Where to Recycle Holiday Lights
Do not place the holiday lights with your weekly recycling! The wiring can become twisted around recycling machinery at the single stream recycling facility, causing machinery stoppage, possible equipment damage, and downtime until corrective action occurs. These locations near Brentwood offer proper recycling of holiday lights:

- Lowe’s, 1212 Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood (by front door)
- Tilles Park, 9551 Litzsinger Road in Ladue (by tennis courts)
