CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA OF THE REGULAR
BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING OF MARCH 15, 2004
Motion was made by Alderman Golfin, second by Alderman
Marshall to approve and adopt the Agenda of the Regular Board of Aldermen
meeting of March 15, 2004. Roll
call: Alderman Moreno, yes; Alderman
Marshall, yes; Alderman Leahy, yes; Alderman Golfin, yes; Alderman Kramer, yes;
Alderman Robertson, yes; Alderman Wynn, yes; Alderman Cross, yes.
CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR
BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING OF MARCH 1, 2004
Motion was made by Alderman
Robertson, second by Alderman Cross to approve and adopt the Minutes of the
Regular Board of Aldermen Meeting of March 1, 2004. Roll call: Alderman
Moreno, yes; Alderman Marshall, yes; Alderman Leahy, yes; Alderman Golfin, yes;
Alderman Kramer, yes; Alderman Robertson, yes; Alderman Wynn, yes; Alderman
Cross, yes.
BIDS – None
HEARING OF ANY MATTER OF PUBLIC INTEREST UPON REQUEST OF
ANY PERSON PRESENT
Kathryn Jepsen – 2328 Annalee came before the Board and
stated that the website has not been updated with the bill stated on the
agenda.
Mayor Kelly stated that Bill No. 5171 has been on hold
since April 7, 2003, so it would just be stated on the agenda as such.
INTRODUCTIONS, READINGS, AND PASSAGE OF BILLS AND
RESOLUTIONS - None
Bill No. 5171 will remain on hold.
ACCOUNTS AGAINST THE CITY
Motion was made by Alderman Marshall, second by Alderman
Leahy to approve the warrant list dated 3/15/04. All in favor none opposed.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES AND DEPARTMENT HEADS:
Mayor’s Report
Mayor Kelly stated that there is an elected officials
meeting at the Heights at 7:00 p.m. to share some of the ideas for Hanley
Road.
Mayor Kelly stated that National Day of Prayer is
scheduled for May 6, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at City Hall. There will just be one session this year.
Mayor Kelly stated that most of the residents are aware of
a house fire on Collier in December 2003.
He met with Bob Hamilton a few weeks ago and his builder had concerns
about getting some of the equipment in and out of his property and asked if he
could cross City property down on Russell and come in through the back
way. Mr. Hamilton has agreements with
both of his neighbors to cross their property. The Mayor stated that he gave them permission to cross City
property. They submitted a letter
stating that they will restore the property back to its current condition, the
same agreement they have with the neighbors.
Mayor Kelly requested the following reports be entered
into the record: Waste Management
Committee, Communications, Public Works Committee and Ways and Means Committee.

Development
Director of Economic Development Shelton came before the
Board and stated that Alderman Kramer at the last meeting asked that the Board
be kept up-to-date on the status of the Comprehensive Plan Committee. They will be meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd
at 7:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center to continue their discussions or
interviews with potential planning consultants.

Meeting will be held March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at
