General Programming
Youth General Programs
Brentwood Parks and Recreation offers a variety of youth general programs throughout the year. Each season brings new, exciting programs mixed with returning favorites. Whether they want to learn a new hobby with our Photography program, or dive deeper into a current hobby with our Book it to Nature and Star Gazing programs, your children will be sure to find the perfect program to spark their creativity!

Check back each season as a new group of programs will be introduced.

 Parents Night Out Parents' Night Out
Fridays, April 20
6-9 p.m.
Treat yourself to a night out and leave your kids with us! Crafts, games, ice skating, and a light snack will be provided. Each month will have a new theme for the evening. Join us in January for Winter themed evening!

Created by Zumba and BabyFirst, Zumbini® programs, combine music, dance and educational tools. This 45 minute program designed for ages 0-4 provides can't-stop, won't-stop bonding, learning and fun!

book Book it to Nature: Color Walk
Saturdays, March 31, April 28
9:30-10:30 a.m.

Join us as the Brentwood Public Library will read us a book involving the color in the world around us. As we hike the trails, we will take a closer look at the rainbow of colors in nature. After the hike, a small craft will be hosted.

9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Discover the world through a different lens. This introductory class will highlight the basics of starting photography: learning the angles, lighting, focus, shooting and editing photos.
Participants must provide their own camera.

 APA Doggy Day with the APA
Friday, April 27
12-1 p.m.

Stop by the park to play with some of the dogs up for adoption at Missouri APA Adoption Center. Playing with the dogs helps release their energy, which means they will be well behaved at the adoption center, and get adopted quickly! No outside pets allowed.
