INVITATION FOR BID:
BRENTWOOD PARK DESTINATION PLAYGROUND
BRENTWOOD, MO
Notice is hereby given that the City of Brentwood is accepting sealed bids for the Brentwood Park
Destination Playground. Bids will be received by the Deputy City Clerk, at Brentwood City Hall,
2348 S. Brentwood Boulevard, Brentwood, Missouri 6314, until 10:00 a.m. on July 12, 2022. The
bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at the Brentwood City Hall. Bids received after
said time will be returned unopened. Bidders shall submit two copies of bid proposal.
The Scope of Work consists of Construction of a Destination Playground as outlined by the project
documents (plans and specifications) to include, however are not limited to, the installation of
storm water, electrical, IT and water utility lines; rough grading and compaction of on-site stored
soils, pavilion structures (pavilion, entry gates and overlook structure as alternates), hardscape,
concrete seat wall abutments, segmental retaining walls, installation of a water feature to include
spray nozzles, controls and water feature systems, installation of playground equipment provided
by owner, playground surfacing, amending of on-site soils and installation of planting soils,
plantings and turf and meadows, irrigation system (providing and installation of a water
recirculation and storage system for irrigation as alternate). The project is generally located east of
the intersection of Brazeau Ave. and East Pendelton Ave.
Bid documents can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.brentwoodmo.org after 10 a.m.
on June 14, 2022.
The City intends to award a contract on or about the week of July 18, 2022.
Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this
contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial
Relations of the State of Missouri.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and waive any irregularities in the best
interest of the City.
All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted by email to
the following person and should include in the subject line “Brentwood Park Destination
Playground Project – Bid Question(s)”. The questions shall include the specific area of work, the
drawing page number and/or the specification section. This will help in the distribution of the
questions to the appropriate designer as needed.

Clarifications requested by the bidders must be received by Navigate Building Solutions by email
not less than 5 days prior to receipt of bids. The reply will be in the form of an addendum, a copy of
which will be forward to known bidders.
Prospective general contractors and subcontractors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid
meeting that will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
