The City of Brentwood operates its own Sanitation Department under the supervision and coordination of the Public Works Department. The Sanitation Department is responsible for the collection of trash, yard waste and recycling for single-family homes and Brentwood Forest Condominiums. The basic service is offered at no charge to residents. Optional bulk pickup and additional collection days are available for a small fee.
DO add to the Recycling Bin: Paper, Flattened Cardboard, Plastic Bottles and Containers, Glass Bottles and Jars, Metal Food and Beverage Cans, Food and Beverage Cartons. Keep these items loose (not bagged), clean and dry.
DON'T add to the Recycling Bin: Plastic Bags and Film, Styrofoam, Sharps and Needles, Food Waste, One-Time-Use Disposables (such as plastic straws and utensils, batteries, household hazardous waste and yard waste).
